MspectralDynamics by Melda Production
We’re back with another in-depth look at a plugin. The one plugin we are going to review is MSpectralDynamics. this is an audio processing plugin with a lot of capabilities.
It has the ability to flatten the spectrum, eliminate track or frequency clashes, reduce noise, and offer up a variety of new creative possibilities. I’m very excited about this one because indeed this is the swiss army knife of audio processors.
Melda Production, a well-known audio software company, has built over a hundred highly flexible and creative tools, including Processors, Modulators, and other categories. Recently they have updated their plugins in Version 15.
You’ll see the significant changes, in comparability, functionality, usability, and also they have upgraded the UI of 35 of their plugins into a new look. They have updated over 112 of their products and they are now available.
MSpectralDynamics
MSpectralDynamics and the latest LE Version are fantastic examples of MeldaProduction’s unique audio processors that don’t appear or perform like other plug-ins. MSpectralDynamics has been published for a few years and has gotten positive feedback, with the exception of one point about which some users have expressed dissatisfaction.
It’s not simple to grasp or utilize without putting in a lot of work. Because there are so many functions and features in the complete version, one needs to learn before using this plugin. The LE version simplifies operation while keeping the core features of the full version. In fact, the LE version performs just what the full version does in (Easy) mode, but without access to the full Edit mode, and of course, there are some limitations on parameters.
MSpectralDynamics is a dynamics processor that operates in the frequency domain rather than the time domain, however, it does do some time-domain actions as well. This allows it to deal with particular frequencies, compressing (or expanding) them in ways that no other compressor can.
In some ways, it’s similar to a multiband compressor with hundreds of bands that can regulate gain reduction with a sidechain signal. It’s also capable of more than just audio compression. Edit Mode is selected to ‘Spectral Flattening’ process. Please note the additional controls on the left and the additional settings on the right.

What Tools Included In MSpectralDynamics?
Melda Production MSpectralDynamics is a super powerful spectral dynamic processor with 8 plugins in one unit that helps you to have more control in pacific frequencies. The MSpectralDynamics LE offers the same processing tools but in a simpler way. But if you want to use the more detailed version you need to use the MSpectralDynamics pro or full version.
let’s see what plugins are included in this unit:
Flattening: Spectral Flattening is an spectral dynamic processor that helps you to reduce the prominent part of the frequencies in the spectrum. If you use the pro version, you have a more detailed window which is very similar to some dynamic resonance suppressors like Soothe, DSEQ3, and so. Although the LE version only provides several knobs, they do almost everything as the pro version does but with some limitations.
Compressor: Then you’ve got your compressor with standard parameters which have a nice color to it.
De-Esser: below the compressor, there is a De-Esser section, which helps to reduce the harsh sibilance. I find this de-Esser very smooth and natural sounding.
Denoiser: With Spectral De-Noiser, you can easily reduce the background noise of your material.
Ducking: Spectral Ducking is a perfect choice to clean up the muddy frequencies and make more room in the frequency spectrum. I find it very useful when I want to use a sidechain on my instruments and Vocal track.
Ducking Bass – Drum: The ducking Bass – Drum, is a perfect tool to use to prevent frequency clashing on Kick and Bass. It reduces the clashing frequencies on the Bass whenever the Kick Drum hits.
Gate: The spectral gate is a versatile gating plugin that helps you create some awesome results or you can use the extreme setting to make some interesting effects.
Spectral Crusher: Spectral Crusher is a great tool for sound design. You can create some very interesting sounding effects with it like this.
UI Size: on this plugin, you can easily change the UI size by grabbing the right bottom corner and changing it as you like.

Final Thoughts
This is a significant set of Audio Processing Plugins in one unit, and even the LE Version will provide you access to features that aren’t widely available.
The spectral Flattening, Ducking modes, Denoiser, and Crusher features alone are worth the price of the LE edition, but the full version is something unique if you want to spend time designing original processing modes. And it will keep you occupied for quite some time I must say.
In general, it’s A Swiss Army knife of audio processing tools that can do lots of things. It also can handle stereo, Mid-Sides processing and surround sound up to 8 channels.
I do recommend this plugin and you can get this plugin or any other Melda Production product and use it for 14 days, then decide whether you want to get it or not. And also once you get it you’ll have the Free updates for life, so you’ll not pay for any future updates.
If you find this MSpectralDynamics review useful, we would appreciate it if you would share it with your friends and colleagues.
